Welcome to Washington

Everyone has been saying "you're going to love the summer here- it's amazing." I have been fervently holding to that hope because when I arrived it was snowing and hailing (that doesn't suit a Texas girl much). But last weekend Matt and I got a beginners glimpse at what everyone has been talking about:

Otherwise, there isn't too much to update on. The Journey Church did celebrate our two year anniversary last weekend- yay! What I've been told is that if a church plant makes it through their third year, their survival chances grow exponentially.

And on Thursday our adoption wait drops down to 2-4 months.

Washington summers are the best! I am so envious that you will get to experience that!
We are tentatively planning on being up in that area and flying out of Seattle when we travel to ET (hopefully the end of May).
Hope you enjoy the most beautiful place on earth!
Love,
Holly
