This one's for you, Margo (Ask and you shall receive!)

Blondes DO have more fun!
Since Matt and I are in penny-pinching mode for the adoption fees, I have bitten the bullet and returned to, what I can only guess might be, my natural hair color. I'm none too excited about it, and as I've already warned Matt- if this doesn't work out for me I will have to schedule an appointment with my "chemical technician", Jackie, and beg her forgiveness for committing the cardinal cosmetology sin of trying to color my hair myself.
But in the meantime, I keep reminding myself of one detail: "My son IS more important than my hair."

THANKS!!! Wow...your hair color is amazing!!! When that pic popped up on my screen i thought 'who is that??? is that nikki's cousin or long lost twin?' i think your hair looks awesome. even deacon said it looks really good. Actually, he can only say 'no' and 'du' which i translate to duck and for some weird reason 'nay nay nay' and i don't know what that means...but i could tell he liked the new hair color.

I love your hair like that!!! I loved in Dallas when you went dark. What color is that? I might want to pinch some penny's myself.

I agree!!! I really like your hair dark. You are way braver then I am. The last time I tryed to die my own hair I turned it Bozzo the Clown Red.

Nikki,

You guys have connections to Clifton?! My husband used to be a member there back in college, before we got married & moved. I've been there multiple times & really like it! We have a framed drawing/painting of Clifton hanging up in our home! Are you in Louisville? I checked your profile & that's not what it said, but I'm just checking...

Has anybody ever said that your husband looks like Sam Storms? ...at least, to me he does, in that picture! :)

Katie-
Yes, we are members at Clifton. I've been there for two years, Matt's been there for four years (maybe we were there at the same time??)
Good luck with the adoption! Which program are you in?
Thanks for the comment!

Well, Mark probably left about the time Matt got there... he moved here when we got married in May 2003. Anyway... nice that there's still a little connection! We love Tom Schreiner & Chip Stam. And by the way, we're in the Ethiopia program. Is that what you're doing?
