And you know the rest of that sentence.
We have officially been waiting four months for our referral for a baby boy. Unfortunately, our agency has now officially stated that the wait time for a baby boy has increased from 5-7 months to 7-9 months. Boo! From what I understand, a lot of it has to do with a drought in Ethiopia causing power outages in the country. So, we still have 3-5 months to wait. It's kind of sad because one month ago I was saying 2-4 months. But rest assured, we continue to praise and rest upon Him from whom all blessings flow- even if it does seem like a carrot is being dangled in front of my face :)

boo hoo for longer wait times!
I'm sorry about the wait. It can only be assumed that God is doing His almighty work with something that is unknown to us. He has perfect timing for everything. Not that this makes you feel any better because I know it sucks, but as you trust in Him, you know that He has his reasons which are all good. Jesse and I will be praying for all of you!!!! Hugs,~Sarah
I know, the wait times stink, stink, stink! Oh well. Hang in there!
All the more time to become a PERFECT parent. .! Study up, sista! love ya and I'm praying for your little family-to-be!
Hi Nikki! I am so sad to say this is my first visit to your blog. I am sitting here (at 12:30 a.m. no less) thinking, "I need to make sure I know those families we may travel with!" And, really unfortunately for you--hopefully it will change again--there's a chance we could travel together since the wait times have changed. Hope you are starting to enjoy that summer weather. I have a PRECIOUS friend in Portland. All my west coast (OR/WA) friends brag about "God's country." Hopefully, you will find this to be true! Blessings, Danielle
